Dear Gentle Readers,
March has ended with a quiet shift in energy. The days were longer. and it’s that time of year when goals are becoming clearer, rhythms are forming, and intentions are slowly turning into action.
March also marked International Women’s Day,a moment to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and impact of women across industries and communities. This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” served as a powerful reminder of the value of lifting others as we grow. It encouraged us not only to recognise the contributions of women, but also to actively use our voices to support, uplift, and create space for one another. In doing so, we continue to foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and shared progress.
As a community, we continue to take strides in what we are building together, And this month, we have something truly special to celebrate.
🎉 A Major Milestone for Our Community
I am incredibly proud to share that Black Women in Tech DACH is now officially a registered association — Black Women in Tech DACH e.V.
This milestone represents more than a legal status.
It is a powerful step toward sustainability, structure, and long-term impact. Becoming an eingetragener Verein strengthens our foundation as a community and positions us to grow with intention, credibility, and reach across the DACH region.
This achievement reflects the dedication, vision, and collective effort of everyone who has been part of this journey so far.
And while we celebrate this moment, we also recognise: this is just the beginning

As we move further into the year, our focus remains clear: building a strong, visible, and impactful community across the DACH region.
With our new status as a registered association, we are now even better positioned to:
- Expand partnerships with organisations committed to inclusion
- Create more structured programs and initiatives
- Increase visibility and representation of Black women in tech
- Build sustainable opportunities for growth and leadership
Every step we take contributes to a larger vision—one rooted in empowerment, representation, and excellence.
